TRANSFORMING FOR GOOD

Transforming for the Planet
#1 More sustainable construction
We place sustainability at the heart of our construction projects. Each new residence is designed to minimize its environmental impact by using eco-friendly materials and innovative construction techniques. We use recycled and bio-based materials that reduce the ecological footprint right from the construction phase, and our green roofs, like those on our residences in Bordeaux, promote biodiversity in urban areas. Finally, all our new residences are certified BREEAM or RE2020, ensuring they meet the highest environmental standards.
#2 Defining our decarbonization pathway
UXCO Group is committed to an ambitious decarbonization pathway. We have set clear objectives to reduce CO2 emissions from our residences through targeted initiatives and strategic partnerships. We have installed solar panels on several of our residences, which has already significantly reduced CO2 emissions. We also collaborate with energy transition experts to regularly measure and adjust the carbon footprint of our projects, ensuring we meet the targets set in our decarbonization plan.
#3 Commitment to energy efficiency
Energy efficiency is a priority for UXCO Group. We optimize the energy consumption of our residences while ensuring the comfort of our residents.
We have installed smart energy management systems in our residences, enabling real-time optimization of energy use. Low-energy LED lighting is used in all common areas, significantly reducing energy consumption. Additionally, we actively raise awareness among our residents through campaigns on waste sorting and water consumption reduction, encouraging them to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
#4 Prioritizing rehabilitation
Rather than systematically building new structures, we prioritize the rehabilitation of existing buildings. This approach helps preserve natural resources while revitalizing existing neighborhoods. We have recently transformed former industrial structures into modern residences in Toulouse, incorporating green spaces and eco-friendly facilities. Similarly, in Noisy-le-Grand, we converted an old office building into student housing, thereby reducing the environmental impact associated with new construction while breathing new life into a declining area.
